Lines Plan Patrol Boat






I am trying to design a high speed patrol boat of approx. 15 to 20m for coast guard with 25 to 30 knots speed. i am a student and i am presently using townsend method of lines plan generation. i understand your recommendations.. A patrol boat (also referred to as a patrol craft, patrol ship or patrol vessel) is a relatively small naval vessel generally designed for coastal defence duties. there have been many designs for patrol boats.. This is measured at the designed water line, or where the water will be with the designed load on the boat. it is located between station 0 (68") to station 10 (948"). stations are 88" length divisions along the lwl and are used on the lines plan for cross-sectional lines. see the hull page for details. amidships.
